With the FCA’s consultation on the motor-finance redress scheme published, this session focused on the practical next steps firms will need to take.
We unpacked what the FCA’s position meant in practice and offered a clear view on how firms should be tackling this. Our session is aimed at compliance departments, legal teams and crucially complaints teams and heads of remediation.
From understanding the FCA’s judgement to setting up for redress – we covered what needs doing, who needs to be involved, and how to avoid missteps when the scrutiny starts.
Speakers

Michael joined our team following 16 years at the FCA, most recently as a Technical Specialist in Consumer Investments supervision. He has an in-depth understanding of the regulatory frameworks governing advised and non-advised pension/investment sales, product governance, complaints and redress.
