Specialist financial services regulatory consultancy, Ocorian, part of the Ocorian group, has recruited Portia Amato as US Practice Lead as it continues to expand its services for local and global clients.
She joins from regulatory compliance consulting firm IQEQ where she was Managing Director based in New York. She brings over 20 years’ experience working in the US – from compliance consultancy to leading inhouse compliance at investment and asset management firms.
At Ocorian she will be responsible for leading and building the US team while overseeing the delivery of US regulatory consulting services to clients, as well as growing the business in the US and globally. She will report to Rebecca Thorpe, Global Head of Regulatory Consulting.
